Job description
GIK GROUP is looking for a motivated and responsible engineer trainee to support in the management and coordination of the construction of residential and commercial buildings in the Zagreb area. As an engineer trainee, you will be a key part of the team, with the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop skills under the guidance of experienced experts.
Your responsibilities include:
- Support in the coordination of the construction site: participation in the management of daily activities on the construction site and coordination of contractors, subcontractors and other subcontractors.
- Operational support: help in planning, organizing and monitoring all phases of the project.
- Control of work performance: monitoring the quality and progress of work and ensuring compliance with technical regulations and project requirements.
- Documentation management: updating technical and operational documentation and participating in maintaining the construction site log.
- Preparation of technical reports: data collection and preparation of reports for the project manager and investor.
- Material and resource tracking: controlling the delivery and use of construction materials and ensuring that all resources are available on time.

What do we expect?
- University degree or college degree in civil engineering (final year students also welcome).

- Computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Category B driver's license.
