Job description
GIK GROUP is looking for an organized and independent Procurement Officer to manage the procurement process of materials, equipment and services on residential and commercial projects in Zagreb. As a Procurement Officer, you will be the link between the construction site, management and suppliers and directly influence the costs and dynamics of project implementation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collection and analysis of bids: contacting suppliers and subcontractors, creating comparison tables and making a selection proposal for the project manager and management.
- Negotiating terms: agreeing prices, delivery times, payment terms and guarantees with suppliers.
- Order management: creating and monitoring purchase orders and aligning them with contracted cost estimates.
- Documentation control: checking invoices and delivery notes and matching them with orders and actual implementation on the construction site.
- Coordination with the construction site: monitoring delivery deadlines and ensuring that material is available at the right time.
- Supplier database development: updating price lists, terms of cooperation and supplier reliability records.

What do we expect?
- Secondary education, university degree or university degree in construction, economics or technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction.
- Knowledge of construction materials and ability to read cost estimates.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and MS Office package.
- Negotiation skills, organization and accuracy in working with documentation.
- Independence in work and willingness to cooperate in a dynamic environment.
- Category B driver's license.
