Accountant (m/f)

Job description

We are looking for a precise and responsible person for the position of Accountant , who will be a key part of our financial team and ensure accurate and timely accounting operations. If you have experience in accounting and want to work in a dynamic environment of the construction industry, this is the opportunity for you!

Your responsibilities include:

  • Accounting: Processing and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices, calculation of VAT and other tax obligations.
  • Preparation of financial reports: Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports according to legal requirements and internal needs.
  • Project Cost Tracking: Control and report on costs associated with construction projects.
  • Salaries and calculations: Calculation of salaries, calculation of contributions and keeping records of employees.
  • Documentation preparation: Participation in the preparation of financial documentation for external and internal audits.
  • Communication with institutions: Cooperation with tax authorities, banks, suppliers and other relevant institutions.
  • Business Compliance: Monitoring legal regulations and ensuring that all accounting processes are in compliance with current laws.

What do we expect?

  • University degree or secondary school diploma in economics, accounting/finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar jobs, preferably in the construction or investment industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and legal regulations.
  • Experience working with accounting software (eg Synesis, Pantheon, SAP or similar).
  • Good analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Active knowledge of English is an advantage
